Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using Letter Yourself.
1. Operator
This service is operated by Verelisse s.r.o., registered office Příčná 1892/4, Nové Město, 110 00 Praha, Czech Republic. Company ID (IČO): 23679361. Registered under file number C 430476 at the Municipal Court in Prague (Městský soud v Praze) ("Operator", "we").
2. The service
Letter Yourself allows users ("you") to compose a letter, pay a one-time fee, and have us print, store and physically deliver that letter to a future address on a future date chosen by you (between 1 and 50 years from the order date).
3. Order and payment
By submitting an order and completing payment via Stripe (including Apple Pay and Google Pay where available), you enter into a binding contract with the Operator. Prices include VAT where applicable and are shown at checkout. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide (delivery address, recipient, contact details).
4. Right of withdrawal
As the contract concerns the production of goods made to your specifications and clearly personalised (Section 1837 lit. d) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, and Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU), you do not have the right to withdraw from the contract once production has started. If you wish to cancel before printing, contact us at hello@letteryourself.com as soon as possible and we will process a refund where reasonably possible.
5. Long-term storage and delivery
We store your letter in encrypted digital form and a printed physical archive until the chosen delivery date. We will attempt to keep your contact details up to date by sending you an annual reminder email. If we cannot reach you at delivery time, we will contact your backup contact (if provided). The Operator is not liable for non-delivery caused by outdated address data that you failed to update.
6. Account
After purchase we automatically create a customer account linked to your email so you can update your address, phone, name or login email at any time at letteryourself.com/account.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to submit content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, infringes intellectual property rights, or that we reasonably believe could expose us or third parties to liability. We may refuse or cancel an order on these grounds with a full refund.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the affected order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. The competent courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
